Board Riders Review hangs out with Pete Hamborg and his family to check out their giant skateboards, similating longboarding and short boarding. These boards are super fun! They are great for practicing surf maneuvers, like turning, carving, walking the board, noseriding, and pumping. Also, great for cruising the boardwalks.

I've had on of the longboards for years, it's a really fun,well-made board. The board gets a lot of attention, I try to carry business cards for these guys to hand out whenever I ride. Recently I mostly ride it with a Kahuna Big Stick land paddle as a sort of cross training for stand up paddle boarding; you get a really good workout that way, especially when you start going on longer and longer rides. Finally, unlike most skateboards, these boards really are works of art, a tribute to Southern California Surf/Skate culture; I keep mine clean and pristine and display it proudly! Chuck M.
